ConnectCare

Overview

ConnectCare is a subscription-based service for QAWeb Enterprise organizations. It provides extended reporting capabilities giving insight into the health and compliance of the display fleet, and automates the delivery of those reports.

Note

ConnectCare features are only available to organizations with an active ConnectCare subscription. If your organization has no active ConnectCare license, the ConnectCare menu will show a notice with information on how to obtain the service.

When your organization has an active ConnectCare subscription, an End User License Agreement (EULA) must be accepted before accessing the reports. The EULA can be reviewed at any time via the About page (accessible from the user menu in the upper right corner of the Portal).

Accessing ConnectCare

To access the ConnectCare section:
  1. Click ConnectCare in the header menu.

The ConnectCare section contains two groups of reports, Optimize and Regulations, as well as the Archive.

Each report is displayed as an interactive dashboard embedded directly in the Portal. The dashboards are updated automatically and periodically, and can be consulted at any time. Dashboards support interactive filtering; clicking on an element in a chart or table applies a filter to the rest of the dashboard. Clicking on a workstation name navigates to the workstation detail page in the Portal.

Optimize

The Optimize group provides operational insights into the status of the workstation fleet.

  • Metrics at a glance: A high-level summary of the fleet status, covering workstation counts, display asset counts, QA compliance status and regional QA test status.

  • Inventory: A detailed breakdown of workstations and displays registered in the organization, including connectivity, agent versions, display models, orphaned and unlinked displays, and graphics boards.

  • Installation: A worklist-style view of the fleet onboarding status, covering agent versions and display USB communication issues with actionable recommendations.

  • Compliance status: An overview of QA and schedule status across the active fleet, broken down by display use category, with lists of non-compliant workstations, pending tasks and open task errors.

  • Due: Workstations with tasks that became due in the past 7 days and are still overdue, and workstations with tasks foreseen to become due in the next 7 days.

Regulations

The Regulations group provides compliance overviews for specific regional governing regulations. Only the regulations applicable to your organization are shown in this menu.

The following regulation-specific reports are available:

  • NY State City Regulation: Compliance with New York State display quality regulations.

  • MQSA: Compliance with the Mammography Quality Standards Act (United States).

  • IEC: Compliance with IEC display quality standards.

  • JESRA: Compliance with the Japan Electronic and Information Technology Industries Association standard for radiological equipment.

  • DIN: Compliance with German Institute for Standardization (Deutsches Institut für Normung) display quality standards.

  • ONR: Compliance with Austrian Standards (Österreichisches Normungsinstitut).

  • BAG: Compliance with the Swiss Federal Office of Public Health (Bundesamt für Gesundheit) guidelines.

Each regulation report gives an overview of which workstations require attention in order to prevent non-compliance when the hospital needs to report to the governing authority.

Note

Regulation reports are intended for internal follow-up only and are not a document that can be shared directly with regulatory authorities.

Archive

The Archive section provides access to historical weekly snapshots of the ConnectCare reports. Every week, a snapshot is generated and stored here as a ZIP file containing PDF reports. Archived data is retained for 2 years.

To open the Archive:
  1. Click ConnectCare in the header menu.

  2. Click Archive in the side menu.

Each entry in the archive can be downloaded as a ZIP file containing the PDF reports for that week.

Weekly email reports

In addition to the interactive reports accessible in the Portal, ConnectCare automatically sends a weekly email report every Sunday at 04:00 (Brussels time) to all subscribed users. The email contains PDF report files and a link to the interactive reports in the Portal.

To subscribe or unsubscribe from the weekly ConnectCare email report:
  1. Click your initials in the header menu, then click Profile.

  2. Under Preferences, select or deselect the Send ConnectCare updates option.

  3. Click Save to confirm.

Note

The Send ConnectCare updates preference is only shown when your organization has an active ConnectCare subscription.

Users can also manage this preference for another user from the User Management section, subject to having the required Manage users permission.
